
Johan and his family immigrated to America when he was 11 years old, and he has since become a naturalized citizen of the U.S. He earned his bachelor's degree in biblical studies from Multnomah School of the Bible.

He also has a strong passion for world missions.
Johan has also served as a detention officer and has a deep desire to make this book available in the prison system.
Johan and his wife, Katie, currently reside in Arizona. They have 2 grown and married daughters, Sarah and Holly, as well as 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
