Johan and his family immigrated to America when he was 11 years old, and he has since become a naturalized citizen of the U.S. He earned his bachelor's degree in biblical studies from Multnomah School of the Bible.
Johan has spent nearly five decades in pastoral ministry, serving congregations in California, Oregon, Alaska, Maine, Arizona

Johan has spent nearly five decades in pastoral ministry, serving congregations in California, Oregon, Alaska, Maine, Arizona and Colorado.
He also has a strong passion for world missions.
Johan has also served as a detention officer and has a deep desire to make this book available in the prison system.
Johan and his wife, Katie, currently reside in Arizona. They have 2 grown and married daughters, Sarah and Holly, as well as 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
